Simple, easy and delicious No bake Chocolate Cheesecake makes a perfect dessert at all times and is a chocolate lover’s delight.



200 gms digestive biscuits

50 gms melted butter

120 ml heavy cream/whipping cream

170 gms dark chocolate (melted/cooled)

2 tbsp cocoa powder

1 tbsp hot water

200 gms cream cheese

110 gms sugar


Crush the digestive biscuits in a food processor or ziplock bag with a rolling pin. Mix it with melted butter. Transfer it to a greased 8” inch cake tin/tart tin or springform pan. Press this mixture into the base of the pan and level it smoothly. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Take a small bowl. Add cocoa powder and hot water. Mix well. Reserve.*

Whip the cream till you get soft peaks. Add in melted/cooled chocolate and cocoa powder*

Beat cream cheese and sugar together in a large bowl. Fold in the cream-chocolate-cocoa powder mixture. Fold gently till everything is fully incorporated.

Spread it on the top of the crushed biscuit base. Allow it to set in the freezer for 1 hour and put it back in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or overnight preferably.

Garnish with grated chocolate shaves. Serve and enjoy!!!!

My observations/notes :

  • if using Marie biscuits, add a tablespoon of sugar while crushing them

  • heavy cream/whipping cream and cream cheese should be at room temperature.  do not overbeat them

  • can take milk chocolate instead of dark

  • if using a cake tin, line it with cling film wrap leaving extra edges on the side to get a grip while transferring
